Post subject: HardDisc BackUp to External USB DVD ?!!!

My Home addition doesn't seem to have any provision for Windows
Backup; NO directory VALUEADDMSFTNTBACKUP or file NTBACKUP.MSI on the
installation CD. Surely there must be software to backup to serial
volumes through my external DVD drive. Anyone ? + Thanks ....

PS - The Hardisk has been performing flawlessly, essentially every day
for 4 1/2 years ....
